Boat buying advice, please

    I am considering buying a boat that is currently being financed by an out of state bank/finance company. He is selling the boat for less than he still owes on it. Has anyone here had a similar situation? What is the best way to handle such a transaction? Do you set up an escrow acct somewhere ...I looked at escrow.com...
