Any Iphone users here??

My wife is wanting one and I think I would use one a lot if I had it. My question is are they tough? I'm really hard on phones with the work I do. I carry my phone in my nailbag so I always have it with me no matter what I may be doing. I get sawdust all over inside the flip phones I use now and have to take them apart every so often and clean the back side of the screen so I can see it. I use flip phones because they protect the display better than a one piece phone. I had a few one peice phones and always crack the display some how.

Will an Iphone take that kind of abuse or will I crack the screen and be SOL in a month or two?
