When you start with crappy roads and then pour on tons of road salt and scrape the snot out of them all winter long with plows you end up with potholes by the gazillions. With the potholes come all the rock and debris on the roads that like to fly up in the general vicinity of my vehicles, normally finding my windshield. Just had Safelite come out 3 weeks ago and look at my truck windshield. They fixed up, very nicely I might add, 9 chips of various sizes. Fast forward to last weekend and I'm running down the highway and meet up with a large projectile, lug nut I'm assuming, and put a nice 3 inch crack in the newly polished up glass. Truck is now in the shop getting a brand new one put in. Wife calls when she gets home from dropping it off and tells me her car sprung a leak in a brake line. Rust, another great byproduct of the copious amounts of road salt we use around here. I'm tired of fixing stuff!! I need to go fishing...:(
