My yamaha is starting to get a little old.............

    This motor has served me VERY VERY well over the past 15 years and has never had a major problem or even a minor problems over its lifetime. BUT! The compression is showing signs of ring wear and the injectors are beginning to stubble at lower RPM's now.

    So with a little help from a local hammer guru and a pile of parts from Hydro Tec I have having the old 150 rebuild. There will be a lot of block and intake porting, Tuner, Carbon fiber Reeds, Intake spacer, Injectors cleaned and rebuild/replaced if needed, Mounts along with new rings and other parts as needed.
    We are going to hold off on the Phase III heads for now but can be added later if I want to. We are also holding off on re-flashing the ECM for now.
    The hope is to a worry free motor that is putting out 215-220HP for about 1/4 of the cost of re-powering.

    What are your thoughts?
