Speaking of driver error

Ever got in a boat with someone and wanted to yank the kill switch and shove the throttle up their non driving hiney? :Rolling:

The stories I could tell on rides where people sometimes would finally admit they didn't know how to handle what they had.

I have the utmost respect for the people who can safely drive a bass boat over 85 MPH. That seems to be my limit due to seat time. Years of fishing Santee Cooper from a 17'er honed rough water skills early on. I've only had a few mid tank boats, they handle different.

The people here who work or have worked with dealerships and do demo rides know what I'm talking about. Back in the day tournaments were draw and you fished against your co-angler....none of this Marshall ride along stuff.

Shot gun blast offs made for white knuckles and what an adrenaline rush! A few times I would draw a non boat driving son of a gun that always wanted to fish the other end of where ever we blasted off....never failed LOL. Raingear was standard on even the sunniest days.

Accidents happen, lord knows I've made my share of big dummy moves pushing the envelope.

I guess the most recent was about four years ago I hit something cooking the little Sabre down a river and bow hooked Fishface into my lap, didn't even have time to properly lubricant him. :devil:
