updating a Garmin

    the reports of what a pain in the arse it was were accurate:doh:I hear folks actually buy a new unit for the vehicle instead of updating the old one once a year. Any one have knowledge as to which is more user friendly to us old coots ? I have a 5 year old Garmin nuvi1450.
