Academy Award Movies...

Been watching this thing and I mostly watch them for the laughing buzz I get from watching these Nitwits parading around like they are really doing something important. :Rolling: But, anyway....Also been seeing the reviews for the "Hurt Locker" Why all the big hububub about it?? Why are they questioning the validity of the scenes? Is it hurtful or insuting to our guys in uniform? What?! What am I missing here??

Reason I am asking is sometimes, with my hearing loss and having to use closed captioning alot, sometimes the transcribers are not too swift at typing what is really said. Also, sometimes they make a movie with a military setting but it end up making it look bad for our Guys and gals in the military. So, am I missing something here??
