I fished in a tournament sunday at a local lake in georgia. I pre fished there saturday and caught a few nice fish on a black and gold buzzbait. So, I wanted to start out in that area sunday for our tournament. It is about a 10 mile ride from where we took off. We were boat #5. When they called our number we took off. We went about 1 mile and my partner said he just did not feel comfortable being out here in the fog and I did not either. So we were just getting ready to turn for the shore and the MOTOR shut off! We were sitting out in middle of the lake,no power. You could only see about 10 feet around us. There were other boats coming up behind us. I thought we were dead.Boats passing by and not even knowing we were there. Thank god the motor started back and we floored it towards the shore line. I feel very stupid for putting my long time friend and partner in this position. Until something like this happens you really do not understand how dangerous it is to be haulin booty in the fog. I do now,and I will never do this ever again. Please remember this the next time you want to run in the fog. There might be your good friend up ahead broke down. Mike
