Amended taxes?

    Anyone ever sent in an amended tax form from previous years? We realized this year that we hadnt deducted an expense for the past two yrs nor did we know we could deduct it till this yr. I know to submit an amended tax form its a relatively simple form (as far as IRS forms go) but anything we should know or be aware of before we do so?
