Anyone else had this problem?

    About 2 weeks after my surgury, the anesthetic wore off and I stopped sleeping about 12-14 hrs. a day. Since then, I can hardly sleep at all. It is like my sleep pattern got totally destroyed. I may sleep for .5-1 hr. and wake up. If I'm lucky, I may get a total of about 3 hrs. I am tired all day. The surgury was about 7-8 hrs. long. I am hoping that this is something temporary. Has anyone else had this problem after a long surgury? If so, how long before your sleep patterns returned to normal?

    Thanks folks. This is really starting to disrupt my life.
