Anyone tried this?

    So making a pot of chili for dinner, usually use stew meat instead of ground beef for chili. I had the brilliant idea of instead of browning the meat and sauteeing the onions in the pot, why not sear the meat and cook the onions on the grill. I would think it would add an extra lil bit of flavor to the pot of chili. Also threw a couple jalapenos on the grill too for chopping up in a bit.

    Any of you fools tried doing this before, if so, how did it come out? Ill let ya know if there is any difference tonight after dinner and what the outcome is.
