Better in 1980

When I was cleaning out fishing gear a couple of weeks ago I found an old fishing journal from 1980. I wrote in it after each tourney. I looked through it today and realized the fishing was much better at LOZ in 1980. I still fish some of the same areas but the numbers and size are down. The fish also are suspending more today. I know the fishing pressure has greatly increased since 1980. This just proved it to me. I have changed some of my tactics since 1980. I think I will go back and try what I did back then. Others on the forum can probably say the same.
