Boat trouble what would you do?

Three years ago I had a well known boat cover builder make a cover for my pontoon and a sun shade cover ( bimini top )for my boat. It wasn't cheap. Cost like 1700.00 to do both.By the time a year rolls round all the rubber costing on the cover falls off. I call the company and first words out of the girl working there is we had a bad batch of materials. Then she tells me it will be 500 to
Replace the cover because I have had some use out of it. Long story short they replaced it and tried to charge me 179.00. I didn't pay the bill .Now the trouble is all the coating has come off the sun shade top so it holds water. In last rain stom it ripped in
Half and bent the frame. This is due to more bad material. The sun shade that came with the boat still looks new. Would you call and ask to have it replaced and then rag them out if they say no or just rag them out on line and hope they man up ? I'm not a happy camper right now. Our last go round left a very bad taste in my mouth and I'm sure this is going to end up broke off in my azz. Input welcome.
