Bro-in-law's tourney

He was in 6th place in a 116 boat tourney after the first day with 24.3 lbs. The second day he weighed in 3.3 lbs. and finished 36th. I asked him what changed and he said his bass quit biting. I'm tired of telling him what he is doing wrong but I'll let you folks know. He fished those spots on the 2 practice days and sore mouthed his fish. They aren't spots that will reload with new bass each day. They are spots where a limited amount of good fish reside. I asked him how many bass he took off them during practice. If he hadn't taken those fish, he would have cashed a check. A good lesson here and I hope you folks who are new to tourneys remember it.

He said he loved fishing from my rig. He made a long run and probably put more hours on it this trip than I have since I bought it. He said the boat didn't get a scratch and he washed the boat and wiped down the trailer before putting it in storage. He filled all 3 gas tanks but I leave the saddle tanks empty and only use the main tank myself. I'll run from the saddles until they are empty. If he was using the saddles, it must have been a really long run.
