Bummer!

    Just found out my 17 yr old lost his job at McDonalds. The poor boy is severly dyslexic and mildly autistic and just couldn't multi-task well enough for the fast pace of fast food. The wife said he was up all night worrying about sucking at his job. I talked to him on the phone and told him not to feel bad. When one door closes, another, better one opens. Besides, I told him I've been run off before, too. Didn't mention that it was in my younger, wilder days.

    Our next step is to try and get him a job at the cinema as a projectionist. We'll see how that goes.
