Cantalopes

    This is my first time growing melons. I put 2 plants into my mulch pile to live or die on their own. 1 plant died but the other turned into Melonzilla. 1 vine with about 50-70 melons on it about softball size. Looks like they will ripen at the same time. Think I may have to open a stand in front of the house and sell them. :shocked: I also have been giving away some of my bumper crop of heirloom maters. I have about 60 sitting on a table with a lot more on the vine. All the early summer rain really got them going. I've never had an heirloom crop even close to this yield. My winter squash is going to be a big harvest also. I hope the other members gardens are doing as well.
