    Since we have a thread going, let's talk about what is needed for a person to practice in case they should ever find themselves in a "situation". I'll put down a few things and the rest of you CCW guys can pile on.

    1) fast and accurate shooting with accuracy being the most important
    2) practice drawing from your holster-being fast and accurate doesn't count if you can't get the damn gun out
    3) practice observing what is around you- your dead if you don't see them coming

    I started the thread, you guys can finish.
