Choosing a Laptop

Any computer experts here? I used a friend's Asus laptop a while back and really liked it. I'm trying to find a new one as the current laptop I use is old and kind of slow. I was looking at this one in the link below:

It's in my price range and probably will be the one I pick. I just wanted to see if someone out there that's an expert with computers could take a look at the specs or let me know if you think it would be a good choice. Thanks for any help
