Circle Hooks

I'm not a smart man, but I can't figure out how these things are supposed to have a better hook up ratio.
Everything on the itraweb talks about less gut hooks, but also having more hook ups. Anyone find this true or is it just a reason to try to get more people using them.

Another downside to me is they say you don't set the hook or you will pull it out of their mouth. Now what fun is that:doh:
