Cold weather and fishing

    Most of you on this board have never met me and don't know the story I am about to tell. But 2 years ago I lost two friends of mine. It was a cold windy day and they hit a wave and one of them was thrown from the boat. The other went in after him, both of them didn't have on their PFD's and the wind was blowing the boat away from them. They both died that day:innocent0001: and weren't found till the next day. They both would be here to day if they had done three things. One put on their PFD's two hooked up their kill switch and last packed some dry cloths. I myself got knocked out of the boat at the start of a T when it was 29 out. I didn't have any dry cloths and I was in trouble by the time I got to the dock. Took over 40 mins for me to warm up enough to put the boat on the trailer. My son had to start the truck as I couldn't get the keys in the hole I was shaking so much.Please wear your PFD's hook your kill switch and pack dry cloths this time of year. I told myself I would make a post like this once a year after I burried my friends. I watched the families cry that day and said I would never do that to my family.
