Not really into this sponsorship stuff much but am slowly realizing I have no choice in ths business to entertain and to get involved in it a little bit. Sold some big jigs a couple weeks ago to a guy that I did not realize at that time is the chairman of the above. Upon receiving the jigs he called and was really impressed with the quality. Asked if I would be interested in becoming a sponsor. After several conversations back an fourth, looks like we are moving forward with this. I will be a Gold Sponsor which is the highest level of sponsorship. They have over 400 members and am working on a little donation right now for their Awards Banquet next month. They have 6 tournaments each year to see who qualifies to fish the BASS the following year. Not sure who remembers, but this is the same thing that the late Bryan Kerchal fished when he qualified to fish the BASS and then was killed in the plane crash the following year. I will be giving a little Gift Certificate to each of these tournaments and also offering all of their members small discounts on orders they place with me. Hopefully this all works out and an anxious to see what this grows in to !!!
