Continued brake problems on trailer???????????

Ok still having issues. My left side tire for some time has been getting covered with brake dust. I don't mean small amounts I mean black. So after checking it out it appeard the callipar was sticking. I contacted the brake company and with out hesitation they sent me new parts and I replaced them on Thursday. The pads were down to the metal. Yesterday I drover about 300 miles and on the way up they had a little but nor much. Once I got back last night both wheels were solid black and hot. Now some of this I will dismiss because I took a long curvey mountain road and I am sure it was hard on them.


Here is my question though. Since I got this new POS truck I have complained about while pulling in tow haul mode the smallest touch of the brakes causes the motor to activate the brake assit. It is not uncommon while driving at 60mph and say 2k rpms is you lightly touch the brakes it will down shift to 4-4500 rpms. I have said since day one that this can not be good for mileage or the truck brakes. Since day one my tuck braked have squeaked. I was told by a dealer" That's a Chevrolet they all squeak"
Well now they are getting worse as well and I am getting this bad pulsating while going down large hills. Bad enough the entire truck shakes.

I have talked to 3 different dealers and they all say the down shifting is normal. I have owned a Yukon and at least 10 F-150s and never had this issue.

Here is my question. Could the down shifting and brake assit be causing my trailer brakes issues. When the truck brakes come on and and the the truck revs up/slows down could it be causing the trailer brakes to engage to
