Damn New Boats cost!!!!!! Desided to refit 2000 Stratos instead. Phase I--Removed and replaced carpet last year just detail cleaned last month. Phase II--Repowered with 175 Pro XS Mercury, NOTE! I have 2000 Johnson 175 Fastrike for sale for $4,000. Phase III--Reproped with new Hydomotive Prop several months ago, thanks Tarheelxrd for help in that improvement. Phase IV--Shallow water anchors installed. Phase V--Hoping to have upgrade and re-located electronics on boat by Labor Day. Still cost less than half cost of New boat. Thinking of having bottom glass redone but do not know where to takeboat in Piedmont North Carolina for estimate.
