Crappie fishin

We took the boy croppie fishin again today. We got on the water about 8. By 11 we had caught 24, with 20 being keepers. Then they just stopped. Which when it came time to clean em, I'm glad they stopped biting :doh:. We fried up 10 of em for supper and froze the rest.

He did have the 2 biggest (in the pic), but no tags. He had another monster in the boat, then out of the boat, then over the boat, then finally out of the boat and in the water.......I think he learned to get em in the boat and not hang em out in the air today.....:Rolling:

I don't want the local yocals (I think that's the term I heard) to know the secret bait, but here's a hint. It's alive, has scales, is silver in color, and you normally buy em by the dozen. :tooth:
