Damn Cable Company

Got to the lake and had problems. We hadn't been to the condo in over a year. There were wasps eveywhere. Live ones, dead ones--I sprayed and killed them. Then the cleaning began. That was a couple of hours. Now, it's dark and time for some tv. Charter Cable redid the complex's cable wiring last month. The cable was in the wrong places in the wrong rooms. Then, the cable box didn't work, A call to Charter, 15 minutes with a robo-call--finally a real person. They took our problem and set up a service call for the next day. Service call was for between 1-3 pm. Tech showed up at 10 am. He had no cable, no cable boxes and no work order for them. I said "then why the "f" are you here". He said he had a service call. He left. Another call to Charter and another service call the next day. He brought a digital box--we have HD. He said "no problem and installed a HD box and reran the cable. It worked for an hour and the box died. Another call- another service call. Finally-- after 3 service calls and 4 days, everything worked. Now, after waiting almost 2 yrs. to fish, I got in an hour and caught a few small crappie. Maybe next time---. Charter Cable still owes us a cable box for the other TV as their rules say they can't work two cable box issues on the same service call.
