Did anyone watch

the NBC evening news yesterday. A Republican Senator was on and said Obama was personally responsible for the Secret Service scandal. He said the president was personally responsible for supervising the Secret Service. I had my back turned to the TV and didn't see who said this. Anyone know who it was? It was one of the most political, asinine accusations I have ever heard. The president's day is choreographed so closely that he only has minutes to do his "duty" and flush it. The president's detail basically tells him what they need him to do to remain safe. The Secret Service is under the control of the Treasury. If this nincompoop doesn't know the basic responsiblities of the agencies, HE should be relegated to the trash heap. I would like a better president but this hatchet job was as bad as a politician can get. And people will believe what this jerk said. As I have said many times, "you don't have to respect the president; you do have to respect the office". If you can't defeat a sitting president without lying about him, you don't deserve the office yourself.
