DMV Question

Posted this elsewhere so some may have seen this already.

Here in CT if you have an issue with a dealer or repair shop, DMV has a unit/division that can help and assist you. We have had an issue with one repair shop, refuse to go back there and looking for some other avenues. I spoke to a friend of mine, who happens to be A) an attorney and B) sits on the particular hearing board for the above division. Do any of your states have such a division and have any of you dealt with them. I know each situation and state is going to be different just looking for a little insight.
