Double color jig

    During the winter, Joey Watts talked about making a jig with 2 different colors of pumpkin. One color was slightly towards watermelon color. I talked to him about the color and ordered some in Feb. Well, I finally used it this trip. It flat out caught bass. The water was slightly stained and you could see a lure at about 2 foot. I teamed it with a pumpkin Zoom Super Chunk Jr. The fish never let it hit the bottom and I fished it in about 5-7 ft. of water. I tried several colors I thought would work as well in this color water. None caught bass as well as the double pumpkin. I hadn't seen this color before and I have been a jig man practically since they were invented. The more I thought about the jig's color, the more logical it became for slightly to moderately stained water. A color that will forever be in my arsenal. :Cool_thumbs_up:

    It isn't on his site but it should be. (hint, hint)
