Down and Out.

Was not looking forward to this mornings truck. Just knew it'd be a big one. Got up got dressed and prayed to the Good Lord for a easy peasy day. Well, it was a big truck alright. 700+ pcs. Got the warehouse all squared away, then had to remove the big plywood sheets out of the trailer that they use as a interior wall for the freight. About 5 ft wide, 8ft tall, about 80-100lbs each, just lay them agains the wall inside the warehouse. Went to put it there and my friggin right big toe was in the way and BAM!!!!. Unleashed a slough of the 4 letter hit parade, damn that hurt! Usually I don't file reports or anything unless I am genuinely hurt, well, I was. I crushed it good. Broke it between the first joint and top of nail. Sent me home for the day after the Urgent Care visit. I'll know tomorrow if they want to do Workmanship Comp or Seated Duty for the next 6 days. Not much to do at the store that requires sitting down, so we will see. I don't care either way. I've never used WComp, so I don't know how the process works. But, we will work it out I'm sure. May be a sit down door greeter. :tooth: that means I'd have to be nice to people. What a drag!! :doh: I don't like being limited at work. But, what's there to do? Just deal with the hand I'm dealt. I have a pic and it's pretty bad. Bottom of toe is completely black, huge bruise on top and I may lose the nail after a while. 2-4 weeks to heal. Grrrrr
