Some facts about the situation in Egypt.
    1) Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and has sent armed forces into Egypt
    2) The MB is demanding that no members of the current ruling party be allowed in the new cabinet.
    3) The situation is deteriorating.

While it is possible for Mubarak to survive the crisis, Egypt will be forever changed. Egypt will probably remain a democracy without Islamic fundamentalists in control. The military is the most powerful force in the country and a short term military leader may control the government until elections. The next government will have to act fast to solve the country's problems or new unrest could occur. The rest of the Muslim world is watching closely to what happens in Egypt. Yemen, the stans, and even the Kingdom could have unrest or revolt. The next couple of weeks will be very dangerous for any repressive regimes. The greater success revolution has, the more chance of it occuring elsewhere.
