Finally Some GOOD news!!!

    Seems old people aren't totally useless. Who'd have thought? :thinking:
    After hearing my problems with the IRS, my Dad got on the phone with our Congressmen and State Reps. As it turns out, there is a "Taxpayers Advocate"! This is a Govt. group that is like a cousin to the IRS, but not part of the IRS. This group answers to Congress, not the head of the IRS. Rep. Lee Terry's office gave me the number to this group. I called them and left my info yesterday. What do you know?....... A very nice lady actually called me back this morning! A real live person called me back and personally told me that she would look into it! Just had the shock of a lifetime a little bit ago when she called me back :)Cool_thumbs_up:) and gave me some actual straight answers AND an IRS website to go to to get my info! :rock_on::rock_on:
    What a switch from dealing with the blood sucking zombies at the IRS! For once, I have some good news: It looks like the house deal is still on, and my tax filing will be completed in plenty of time for the closing date!
    Maybe now I can eat and sleep again. That sounds nice. :Smile:
