Frozen Boat!

Started Thursday last week. Went to Tillery found the Port livewell aerator didn't work. Just put in at Swift Island Ramp. I happen to catch 1 fish and placed in the port livewell to find it not working. Long story short, I removed everything to access and checked to find the motor cartridge bad. Believe water froze cracking the motor cartridge base housing and when I tried the aerator it, I guess burnt up. Worse thing is that Rule doesn't make this particular motor anymore. Went ahead for about $5 more and installed updated 800GPH pump assembly. What a job. All I have to do now is to replace the battery shelf, batteries, and hook everything up Want to go to Mayo Res. Northwest of Roxboro, NC but with the temps staying cold no need to go yet. Since taking retirement getting pretty good at working on Trolling motor, some outboard work, now aerator/livewell plumbing work.
