Good Day/Bad Day

    James and I fished a small tournament today at High Rock. Weather was crappy for most of the day. Foggy, cloudy, and cold.
    Started at 7 am. By 9, we had 2 good fish in the boat. Got my line broken twice. Once on the hookset and one broke off right next to the boat. My last time using Spiderwire mono. We never caught another keeper the rest of the day. About 2:50, we were headed back to the weigh-in . Coming down the lake about 45-50 mph and all of a sudden, the boat stopped ( my boat).
    Motor was still running, but no motion when putting it in gear, forward or reverse. We were probably 2 miles from the ramp. We trolling-motored about halfway back and luckiily we had some guys we knew that towed us. Got back in and found that wwe had spun the hub on the prop shaft. Got to get a new one, hopefully before we head to Hartwell Friday. Hard to believe that a motor that costs as much as that, has a plastic/rubber hub. The bright spot of the day though was my sattelite radio. I am lovin that.
