Got to brag on a friend...

and a friend of this site. I finally broke down and purchased a set of Cooks Tackle holders. Gave the site my info and all. Few minutes later I get a phone call from Darrell saying my card was denied. It was just a typo on my part on the numbers entered. But, he asked me if this was Andrew, I told him yes but that he knew me as ACBass. He was glad to hear from me again and all, (we have met several times and had lunches before at several Bass Master Classics) He then proceeds to tell me that because I am an old friend, he would take care of the shipping and handling. I thought that was great and I was very appreciative.

Fast forward to the arrival of my Cooks product(s) today, yes, I said product"s". I opened it and not only were there no S&H charges, there was a free extra set. He called it an "Old Friend's discount". Im really thankful for friends like Darrell, not for what they do for me, but coming up with ideas that help us fishermen out and make our fishing days more comfortable and productive. Also, I enjoy sending some of you some Academy stuff every now and then, because I like doing things like that, just not used to it being done back to me. It was a weird feeling to read that and see the extra set.
