Gun Control

    Ok before you all pile on me let me make this clear I am not for taking guns away but I have a few questions. Been reading alot of the stories on the news etc. One of the reports I read talks about back ground checks. Well am I missing something I thought that was standard every where. The other new proposed requirement is finger printing. Now I know in Washington DC they say it is almost impossible to go through the process that requires these things. Why could there not be a requirement that we have 2 stages of concealed permits. One for concealing and the other for purchasing. Once you have the license it would be good for 5-10 years and then you could renew. This would do away with NIX all together. Here we can go to our local Sherrifs office pay 5.00 and get a permit for a long gun or pistol usually by the next day or in some cases the same day. I know when you start to give they will just want more and expect more but these don't sound like that bad of requirements to me. Regardless as many have sad bad people will find away to do bad things regardless but I am willing to do my part.
