Guntersville Basses

    It was a slow week at G'ville last week. Fronts, cold weather and NorthEast winds kept it slow. Local boys had a 20 boat tournament and only weighed 14 pounds for 5 fish. We managed a handful of 5 pounders for the week and lost one that appeared to be 6-7 pounds when it jumped.
    C-rigs and shakey heads were the most successful although we caught fish on cranks, jigs, worms and "Mongo" senkos. (that's the 8 incher) Spawned seemed to be over for the most part. We found fish in 5-7' on weed edges and also in 8-9 foot on rocky shoal edges. Main lake humps were holding fish too. We also learned from them Alabama boys that what we thought were Yum Dingers were actually Yum Dangers!!!:Rolling:
