Health Care

Whether you are Conservative or Liberal, Republican or Democrat the Health Care in this country is going to change. I shouldn't have said that because there is one group of citizens who won't be affected. The politicians in Washington voted to keep their present healthcare plan and not join the rest of the country in a new or restructured healthcare bill. So, the people who decide our fate don't want to share it with us. That doesn't leave me with a sense of security for my future. Under the Republican's bill, a bean counter will determine the cost of healthcare. Elderly with health problems will either be charged far more or will have no insurance. Just give the elderly a gun so they can shoot themselves. Government workers, including those who put their lives to line to protect you, may be forced to choose between Medicare or VA care. This reduces the government's outlay for workers. The people already under VA care can tell us what will happen with another 1 million people using the VA. The Republicans have withdrawn the healthcare bill for now but it will be put to a new vote in the future--after John McCain dies. After studying this issue, I have come to this conclusion. Next election, vote everyone out of office. Make a clean sweep with new people and new ideas. The current office holders have shown themselves to be incapable of running this country.
