Help me understand

    Help me understand something I see at the store and drives me crazy but will do myself as well. You pick up a can of soup, box of cereal, what have you, and its damaged, why wont a person buy it? Yes the packaging is damaged, but you are not buying the can of soup for the can, you are buying it for the contents within the can, which will be unharmed. Same goes for the box of cereal, or bottle of Gatorade. I can understand if it was a box of say crackers that were busted up, cuz then, well the crackers too would be damaged.

    I can even understand the canned goods thing with the "Older" folks because when cans were still made of tin and they were dented it promoted bacterially growth within the can, but now that the cans are steel, not so much any longer.

    So lets discuss this shall we. Do you buy something that the packaging is damaged eventhough it does not affect the product you are really looking to purchase.
