Hit the lake

    Well I hit the lake this morning and fishing was slow. I did manage to catch a few on top water using the toad. The bass were in the middle of the lake chasing the shad. Soon the wipers and bass both will be chasing the shad in open water and if I'm lucky I will be there at the right time to have a blast. Fishing this way is kind of like hunting and fishing combined. You sit in open water and wait for the wipers and bass to bust a school of shad and then toss your bait into the mix.

    Oh forgot the funny part. Rudapa always uses a chair in the boat but decided to go without the chair today. About 1/2 hour into the trip he trys to lean on the chair and guess what no chair so he loses his balance and falls on the font deck and the flops like a bass into the water. :Rolling::Rolling::Rolling:
