How I spent my 4th of July

The Nation of Patriots Annual Patriot Tour came to town today. A very special American flag travels 14,000 miles and hits all 48 states. All this between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The local event is hosted by the local HOG (Harley Owners Group) and they asked the local Patriot Guard to stand in a flag line for the Flag's arrival. The flag was delivered today by 200 motorcycle enthusiasts...in a pouring rain.

This is the flag the local fire department set up at the entrance.

And a special trike dedicated to the Viet Nam Vets. It was awesome!!




And finally, a pic of my grandson in the fire truck.



All in all, it was the BEST 4th of July I have ever experienced.
