How the Government really works

As the Russian scandal unfolds, forget your are a Republican or Democrat; forget who you voted for in 2016. This is not about Trump or Clinton but about who really controls the country. The key people to watch are the lobbyists and wealthy people who make big donations to the political parties. Over the time I have been on UB, I have tried to give insight in our government. The probe and trials will be the perfect instruments to see the processes taking place behind the scenes. Look closely and what you may see are wealthy families and individuals controlling politicians through the use of lobbyists and political donations. If very wealthy people are talked about, check their lineage. When the country was founded, about 25 families controlled most of the country's wealth and power. Those same families are in control today, The family name may change through time but the lineage goes back to those families. Politicians may fall, lobbyists exposed, companies ruined and reputations blemished.The previous is what SHOULD happen. What probably WILL happen is lower level scapegoats will be sacrificed, politicians forced from office, fingers pointed and everything else swept under the rug. However, watch closely and you will see how the government operates.
