I'm still here

    Guys, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the prayers I have recieved. I have beat MRSA again but needed an experimental drug to do it. The Vancomycin didn't work this time and the Dr's asked if I would try a new drug. Hell, YES. I was going down fast and it was this or death. It worked but was very hard on my system. My arteries and veins were slightly burned and my right quadricep stopped working. I've spent the last 5 days in a skilled nursing home getting rehab and continue drug therapy. Today, I came home but will need outpatient rehab for quite a while. I will use a walker until the muscles start firing again in my leg. Even after recovery, life will not be the same. I will have to wear compression hose and keep my legs up at any time I am not walking or exercising(or fishing). I'll get on the forum and my time will increase as my health returns. I thank everyone for the prayer list I read at the top of the forum. Lots and lots of people helped me through this and I am thankful to have your friendship.
