Carl is a young guy who grew up near me. I remember his mother driving him to tournaments in the early days as he was too young to drive. He's a very humble, likeable young fella. He worked in one of the local tackle shops for a while and we've bought a bit of gear from him over the years. Last time I saw him was before he sold his little Skeeter and headed over there. Casey Stoner, Aussie motocycle racer, fished with him over there early last year and, when he saw the truck he was driving, took him to a Ford dealership and bought him a new F150. I hope Carl does OK this year.
