keeping bilge area clean

read this on another site sounds like a great idea also just remember not to drain it back in the water when you do it

Some of you may do this already, but I have recently discovered it. I keep a bar of Red Lava soap in Bilge Area and put a gallon of water or so back there and let it sit. It breaks all that grease and scum up water drans out and looks brand new. I just leave it back there all the tie what little water gets back there from fishing, cooler drain off, backwash rain etc mixes with soap and keeps it looking good. Just drain it off at the ramp not to close to water or when you get home!
