After the severe weather yesterday, I give kudos to the NWS. They saw it was going to be a major outbreak and set off the sirens about 20 min. earlier than normal.
    Other lessons:
    1) TV weather folks over hype what is happenning.
    2) They said there was 10 tornados. Turned out it was 2 tornados that were hopping about.
    3) TV folks originally said 2 deaths in area. There were none.
    4) 70 mph straight line winds can severly damage a home.
    5) Keep your computer on the NWS site until you hear the sirens.

My old tourney partner lives in Sunset Hills and had roof damage. The tornado hopped over his house but dropped debris that damaged his roof. I drove about a mile this morning to see the damage in that area. Whole houses destroyed. Some were 5000 sq. ft. brick homes. Tornado was F3-F4.
