Let's talk about black guns

    Thinking of venturing into the 5.56/223 AR field for a new toy. Seems most people want to build to suit they're needs, but I'm not sure about that for my first go at it. Maybe I should just buy a pre-built? School me on barrels? gas block systems? Uppers? Lowers? Thinking flat top so I can use whatever optics I decide on. Would love to double up as a varmint getter. What kind of accuracy could I expect, with factory ammo, from a 16" or 18" barrel at 100-200-300 yards? Would love to stay below 1k. Point me in a direction or tell me what to avoid. Class has begun......learn me sumptin......:popcorn:
