Littoral Combat Vessel

There are numerous articles in the news showing pictures of the vessel. NOT the ship envisioned at the beginnng of the project. The original bid was for a small, stealthy, shallow draft vessel that carried armament pods that could be switched out depending on assignment. It was supposed to go into skinny water that larger ships had to avoid. The vessel is now an overgrown cow unsuited for anything. Too big for it's original use and too small and underarmed for ocean duty. What a CF it turned ot to be. Four of the fifty-four ships have been built. CANCEL it now and start over please. A prime example of admirals asking for more than what had been agreed to in the contract. The cost bloated from $22M to $44m for a useless vessel.
