So I go to the atm on Saturday, put my card in, enter my pin, "This transaction can not be authorized, please call (insert telephone number). Ok atm may be down, Ill try the other one, same message. So since Im at the bank, I go in and talk to someone, apparently my atm card was compromised and whoever it was felt they needed our tax return more than we did. I filed a fraud report with the bank and they are issuing me a new card and returning the funds to us 1-10 business days.

Wife and I got talking afterwards and A) why weren't we notified about my card being locked and B) if there is a $300 limit on withdrawals, how did they exceed that amount on the four transactions?

I've been on the phone with the bank for the past hour and I keep getting the well you need to talk to this department, let me transfer you, get transferred to new department, from fraud to customer service to claims to the resolutions departments.

Now Im waiting for the person in the claims department to contact a supervisor in the customer service department, to get the answers to my two questions. Supposedly customer service should of been able to answer those questions but they passed me on to claims.
