Mazco prop on Puma

This is the second day I've used the new Mazco prop on my Puma with a 225 Optimax. The first day I reached 74mph. This morning I hit 75 mph. The Tempest I just got back would turn in 73 mph. The holeshot and speeds are similar with the Mazco a touch hotter. The Mazco will stay on for awhile and the Tempest will be the spare. I'll switch them in mid summer and run some new figures. By the way, at WOT, the Puma is smooth without a hint of chine walk or bounce. It felt like I was a pool ball rolling on a very good table. Unbelievable ride from this Puma. I powered over some waves I would have slowed for in the PII. Hardly felt a thing. This boat is as solid as a rock. Now, if only my fishing ability will return before the end of the tourney. LOZ is as dead for fishing as I have seen it in a long time. I can't explain it. It is hard to find forage anywhere. I am getting a small limit in the 2 hrs. I am fishing each day but they are not worth taking a picture. If only those 2 bruisers hadn't come unbottoned the other day.
