Must be the Economy

Checked on a Basscat Puma I gave a bid on last week. I did do diligence and thought the owner need to come down several thousand. Looked at boat listings and NADA, etc. Owner sold the boat for 3 thousand more than he asked as several folks bid it up. I have bought several boats before and have never seen prices like this. Pre-owned is at a premium. I think I will stop looking until new boat sales pick up again. Anyone else seeing this in your area?
